About the event

NoReset is an organization aiming to grow and promote the speedrunning and gaming scenes in Quebec and throughout North America. Our events started with a focus on video game speedrunning, but over the years, we have become a leading full fledged video game event, bringing together an average of 30,000 players online and in person per event.

Broadcast Room
This is where the magic happens, both in person and online! Come experience it all and cheer on your favorite player! The atmosphere is always electric, and when the community comes together to raise the roof, there’s no better feeling. Come be a part of it!

Console Freeplay Section
Of course, none of this would be possible without the legions of passionate gamers who turn up at each of our events. And it turns out they love to play even outside the comfort of their own homes! We have a legion of CRT and LED monitors available for anyone attending the event, as well as a fleet of consoles ready to be loaned free of charge to any participant! Meet your favorite players, organize a friendly race, or challenge each other in your favorite fighting game! This is where the community gathers and spends time playing face-to-face!

PC Gaming Zone
Incredible machines and timeless classics transform the PC Gaming Zone into a wild LAN party straight out of the 90s! With a wide collection of pre-installed games ranging from open-source versions of Quake III Arena to Counter-Strike and modern hits like Fortnite, Minecraft, and even Roblox, there’s something for everyone! It’s also the space where our PC partners can showcase their impressive products directly to our attendees!

Board Gaming
Even though we love sitting in front of a screen and watching pixels perform all sorts of crazy stunts, sometimes we need to give our eyes a rest. The Board Games section, presented by our partner Le Joker Pub Ludique Valleyfield, offers a selection of games you can borrow and play with your friends! They also have a wide selection of games for sale in case that new game you just tried becomes your new Friday night tradition.

The Arcade
The NoReset experience wouldn’t be complete without a plethora of arcade games! No tokens or payment cards required, our machines are free-to-play, so... FREE! Rhythm game fans will literally be tapping their toes to Dance Dance Revolution, while others can play our very exclusive (the only one in the world!) Goliath Depot machine by Vidvad Games! Some of you can be fast without being dangerous by drifting on Initial D or trying to determine who the true Iron Fist King is in Tekken 7 Fated Retribution Round 2! Not to mention our other machines, and the new additions we’re constantly working on for the event, there’s something for everyone

Why should you sponsor?

Gaming in general is no longer as homogeneous as it once was and has experienced tremendous growth in terms of diversity, both in its content and in the people who consume it. Several studies indicate a distribution of 51% men and 49% women! Our event aims to be accessible to everyone, of all ages. Our main target audiences are therefore the following: Millennials and Gen Z (Gen Alpha catching up too!) are drawn to our extensive game library spanning multiple generations of console and PC gaming, as are fans of retro and modern video games interested in accessible and high-level skill demonstrations. Furthermore, many of them have or aspire to careers in the technology sector! We anticipate over 30,000 combined live attendees and viewers for each event throughout the 2025-2026 season! In addition, our TikTok, Facebook, Twitch, and Bluesky accounts average over 500,000 views annually!

Our events started with a focus on video game speedrunning, but over the years, we have become a leading full fledged video game event, bringing together an average of 30,000 players online and in person per event.

NoReset Gaming was founded in 2016 following the return of Dimitrios “GVirus” Lianopoulos from Awesome Games Done Quick, one of the largest video game events in the United States. He then decided to build an organization dedicated to producing high-quality events promoting gaming and speedrunning, as well as supporting various charities primarily operating in Quebec.

Since then, NoReset has experienced explosive growth. We have worked with organizations such as Lan ÉTS, DreamHack, and other major video game organizations, which has propelled us beyond anything we could have imagined at the beginning. In August 2022, we organized our very first independent event, which exceeded our expectations in terms of both the content delivered and the response from participants.

Not only do we now offer a live speedrunning showcase at every event, but we also provide a host of other activities such as a free console gaming area, a PC gaming area with over 30 fully equipped gaming PCs, a board game section, an arcade area, and more. We strive to be leaders in the community and adhere to a strict code of conduct and ethics, ensuring we deliver both exciting content and top-notch production while maintaining a strong community spirit and a welcoming atmosphere
