About our event

Foodees Food & Culture Festival is one of the largest touring food festivals in the country, hosting more than 30 events each year across the Southeastern United States. Each weekend event draws tens of thousands of attendees—families, food lovers, and cultural explorers—who come out to experience incredible cuisine, handcrafted art, and unforgettable moments. While most festivals focus on music or performance, Foodees is all about food, family, and community.

Every Foodees event brings together over 60 food trucks and vendors offering a wide range of flavors—from gourmet street eats to international dishes—alongside more than 40 artisan and craft vendors. We build immersive, interactive environments that include attractions like massive foam parties, our all-ages Foodees Fun Park, curated food challenges, and hands-on activities that transform a simple vendor market into a real cultural experience.

Foodees is also designed to be accessible. We do not charge admission. This ensures huge, consistent foot traffic and makes our events a powerful opportunity for brands looking to build authentic, face-to-face connections with real communities. Whether we’re in a large urban center or a smaller town, Foodees becomes the weekend’s main event—and sponsors get to be part of that spotlight.

Foodees was founded in 2022 by Ron Kennedy and Tricia Croft, a husband-and-wife team who believed that food has the power to bring people together in meaningful, lasting ways. What started with a small idea and a bank account that barely held $800 has grown into one of the most ambitious and fastest-scaling food festival tours in the Southeastern United States.

Ron and Trish launched Foodees from a place of urgency and grit, working from a hotel room with no safety net—just a vision to unite communities through food, family-friendly experiences, and cultural inclusion. Their first few events were scrappy but heartfelt. Over time, they built a loyal base of vendors, attracted thousands of attendees, and expanded to dozens of cities.

Today, Foodees hosts more than 30 large-scale events each year, drawing crowds as large as 200,000 in some markets. It’s a story of perseverance, passion, and purpose. Every event they produce still carries the original DNA: celebrate good food, support small businesses, and create spaces where people of all backgrounds feel welcome and seen.

Ron drives logistics and operations with high energy and relentless problem-solving. Trish leads with strategy, branding, and creative direction, shaping the company’s growth and guiding its core mission. Together, they’ve built Foodees into more than a festival—it’s a movement rooted in authenticity, built by two people who refused to quit.
